This guide will walk you through everything you need to know about the essential driving kit for France in 2025. What Driving Kit is Required in France? (Legal Requirements as of 2025) If you’re a UK driver travelling in France, the following items are mandatory and must be kept in your vehicle at all times: Reflective jackets/hi-vis vests: One for the driver and each passenger.
