Calais Ferry Port
Calais Ferry Port is located on the northern tip of France and offers the shortest ferry crossing from the UK.
Over 10 million passengers pass through the port each year making it not only the largest passenger ferry terminal in France but also the busiest car ferry port on mainland Europe. The crossing from Dover to Calais is not of the cheapest but one of the most popular entry points into France.
The Port of Calais is accessible by road, rail and on foot. If you’re travelling by car you’ll find that the port is connected directly to the French road network by two autoroutes, the A26/E15 and the A16/E40. The closest train station is Calais Ville, located in the centre of Calais.
If you’re travelling by bus then you’ll find a regular shuttle service that operates between the Port of Calais and the town centre.
