Côte Des Flandres Ferry

Côte Des Flandres Ferry

The Côte Des Flandres Ferry is one of DFDS Seaways ferries which operates from Dover to Calais. The ferry stands at 33796 gross tons and was built in 2005 in France. The Côte Des Flandres was initially called the Berlioz and was built for Seafrance. In 2012 it was bought by MyFerryLink but when they ceased trading in 2015 it was acquired by DFDS ferries.

The ferry operates on the Dover to Calais ferry route with its sister ship the Côte Des Dunes. Both ferries were completely refurbished in January 2016 and now offer modern facilities for both commercial and tourist travelers.

There are 3 DFDS ferries that operate on the Dover to Calais ferry crossing. These include the Côte Des Flandres, Côte Des Dunes and finally the Calais Seaways.

The Côte Des Flandres is 186m long, with 8 decks and can carry approximately 1500 passengers, and 400 passenger vehicles. She and her sister ship the Côte Des Dunes are smaller than the Calais Seaways. However, their smaller stature means they are slightly faster with a cruising speed of up to 25 knots.
